Exciting News! Season 2 of the PreacHer Podcast is here and it’s going to be awesome!
Also, more exciting news! As you know, I’ve been writing and speaking and teaching for many years, and earlier this year I started the PreacHer Podcast (ahem, that’s why the blog has gone *quiet* for a while).
The response to all of this work that I’m so grateful to be part of has been tremendous—you guys are eager to hear women preach, and talk theology and doubts and church, and be inspired to build bigger tables. SO, let’s do something together, because God is still at work in the world and the church is the actual body of Christ and it matters. It’s time to lean in and level up. Let’s do this!

As I grew and matured, I could no longer subscribe to the bumper sticker adage “The Bible says it, I believe it, that settles it.” As much as I loved the church – it wasn’t a safe place for my questions.
We pick up where S3E4 left off – watching to see how the religious leaders will respond to Peter and John and the lame man. Will they accept and affirm that this is the work of God? The questions are for all of us too (especially the religious leaders among us): Will we set aside our insecurities and our defensiveness? Will we admit that we aren’t really in charge? Or will we grasp at our illusion of power? Will we reject this sign and try to silence them? (Acts 4.1-22)
